Salesforce Location Append for Event Targeting
Salesforce Location Append for Event Targeting
Filter up to 1,000 contacts by region for one event. Send the right invites. Stop clicking one at a time.
Pricing
$500 flat. One list. One event.
I append regional location data to up to 1,000 of your Salesforce contacts so you can pull a filtered list for your next event city in seconds. You get the data before your March outreach window opens. If the append delivers, I roll into a full engagement to cover the rest of your contact list, wire up Salesloft campaign sync, and build regional reporting for your reps.
What You Get
- Regional location data on up to 1,000 contacts: Not raw city names that force you to guess which suburb maps to which metro. Thoughtful regional groupings (Dallas/Fort Worth metro, Greater Boston, Southern California) so one filter catches everyone in the area.
- Salesforce-ready delivery: Data appended directly to contact records. You build a report, filter by region, and export to Salesloft. No spreadsheet gymnastics.
- Industry tagging (where available): Account and contact-level industry data so you can layer geography with vertical. Useful for events like the Gartner Data and Analytics conference where you want people in both the right city and the right space.
- ZoomInfo feasibility assessment: I confirm whether your current ZoomInfo license supports API access. If it does, the append runs programmatically in one pass. If not, I use an alternative enrichment source and document the path forward.
How It Works
- You share Salesforce API credentials and confirm your ZoomInfo tier. I check API access and select the best data source.
- I pull up to 1,000 contacts from your target list, enrich with regional location data, and map every record to a metro grouping that matches how you plan events.
- I push the enriched data back into Salesforce and verify it filters correctly. You run your first regional report before I call it done.
Turnaround: 48 hours from receiving access.
Success Criteria
- Coverage: 80%+ of the contacts in scope have a usable regional location value. No blanks on records that should have data.
- Filter accuracy: You can pull a Salesforce report for the Dallas/Fort Worth metro and get everyone who should be invited to the Grapevine happy hour. No manual cross-referencing.
- Time saved: Your March outreach prep drops from a full day of LinkedIn searching and manual Salesforce updates to a single report export into Salesloft.
What the Full Engagement Looks Like
Once the location data is in place and your March invites go out cleanly, I move to the rest of your list and the workflow layer:
- Full list coverage: Extend the location append to your entire contact database โ not just the first 1,000. Every record enriched and region-mapped.
- Salesloft-to-Salesforce campaign sync: Email sends from a Salesloft cadence automatically update campaign membership and RSVP status in Salesforce. No more toggling between systems to track who responded.
- Regional reports for reps: Each salesperson gets a filtered list of their contacts in the target geography before every event. Built in Salesforce, delivered automatically.
- Event playbook automation: The full loop from "new event announced" to "invites sent and tracked" compressed into a repeatable process instead of a manual scramble every time.
- Outcome-based retainer: No hourly billing. Each month we agree on what gets built and I deliver it.
What I Need From You
- Salesforce API credentials (or admin access to generate them)
- Confirmation on your ZoomInfo subscription tier (API access vs. Chrome plugin only)
- A quick list of the metro regions you care about most (Dallas/Fort Worth, Orlando, Boston, etc.)
- 30 minutes next week to review the enriched data before I push it live
Next Step
Your April Grapevine event needs invites out by early March. I can have the location data appended within 48 hours of getting Salesforce access. Pay the $500 here, send me the credentials on Slack, and I will have the data ready before your outreach window opens. If you want to walk through anything first, grab 30 minutes on my calendar.
